A hydrated uranyl silicate found as yellow orthorhombic crystals.
1922Nature 13 May 631/2 Soddite, a new radioactive mineral. This is a yellow crystalline mineral found associated with curite from Kasolo (Belgian Congo). 1927Mineral. Abstr. This mineral occurs as an encrustation on quartz with malachite in the pegmatite at Norrabees. 1965Amer.
