A system of psychotherapy by auto-suggestion, usually of an optimistic nature. So ˈCoué n., Couéism; ˈCoué v. trans., to produce or bring into a certain state by Couéism; ˈCouéist, one who practises Couéism, a follower of Coué; Couéˈistic a., pertaining to Couéism.
