sphragistic, n. and a.|sfrəˈdʒɪstɪk| [ad. F. sphragistique or Gr. σϕρᾱγιστικ-ός, f. σϕρᾱγίς seal.] A. n. pl. The scientific study or knowledge of seals or signet rings.
