cremaster|kriːˈmæstə(r)| Pl. -ers, also ‖ -eres. [a. Gr. κρεµαστήρ suspender (or spec. in Anatomy, as in sense 1), f. κρεµα- to hang.] 1. Anat. The muscle of the spermatic cord, by which the testicle is suspended.
