spontaneism, n. Pol.|spɒntəˈniːɪz(ə)m, -ˈneɪɪz(ə)m| [ad. F. spontanéisme (1968); cf. spontaneity n. and -ism.] In Marxist theory, direct revolutionary action represented by the spontaneous uprising of the proletariat.
