The name of two fishes of the family Labridæ or Wrasses: a. The Gilt-head (Crenilabrus melops), found on the British coasts. b. The Blue Perch or Burgall (Ctenolabrus adspersus), found on the Atlantic coast of North America, from Newfoundland to Delaware Bay.
