Stambouline, a. and n.|stæmbuːˈliːn| (Also Stamboline, Stamboulina.) [f. Stamboul, older form of Istanbul, Turkish name of Constantinople + -ine.] a. adj. Of or pertaining to Stamboul. b. n. (With lower-case initial.) A long frock-coat worn by Turkish officials.
