Blend the apples, then squeeze the lemons and add water and turmeric powder (this will stain anything it touches, so be careful to add it gently).

In a mixing bowl, add half the olive oil, garlic crushed to a paste with a generous pinch salt, microplaned orange zest and juice, 1 tbsp honey and turmeric powder.

Then add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and coriander powder.

Its other ingredients are turmeric powder, cumin seeds, asafoetida and salt.

In a pan, heat some oil, add mustard seeds and when they splutter add some heeng(asafoetida), curry leaves, turmeric powder and red chili powder.
