Is it time to take a long-term fix?

Any thought that the changes would be a long-term fix were quickly dismissed.

However, if we can get a long-term fix at a lower rate, should we go for that instead?

The only real long-term fix lies in boosting our misfiring education system and reviving our aspirational culture.
