Age checks are largely social work assessments based on the presentation of the young person, their maturity level, their understanding of the world and their country of origin.

They can be used effectively by 4th grade students and maybe younger, depending on their maturity level.

The overall maturity level of the implementation processes can then, in its turn, be derived from the maturities of these five factors altogether.

The higher maturity level of trainees requires fewer disciplinary actions and enables the instructors to focus on the very demanding requirements of modern police work.
