A metro and a monorail system have recently been inaugurated.

Central controls the operation of the entire monorail system, usually by issuing instructions to pilots via radio.

For most of its existence it was horse-drawn; between 1910 and 1914, the portion on the mainland operated as a monorail system.

It would be responsible for land acquisition along the route, and the construction, allied structures, signalling and safety of the monorail system.

Due to the original monorail system, there are dual interior courts rather than a single grand court.
