Etymology: < advise v. + -able suffix. Compare Middle French avisable appropriate (a1403) and also Anglo-Norman aviseablement (adverb) wisely, prudently (a1415), both rare.
1. Of an action: involving deliberation or judgement. Obsolete. rare.
