Etymology: Middle English and Anglo-Norman conspiratour = French conspirateur, < Latin conspīrātōr-em. The English is now conformed in spelling, but not in pronunciation, to Latin conspīrātor.
One who conspires; one engaged in a conspiracy; one who conspires with others to commit treason.
