Etymology: < German Albolith (1869 or earlier) < classical Latin albus white (see album n.2) + German -o- -o- connective + -lith -lite comb. form1.
Now disused.
A type of white cement made from magnesium carbonate, used chiefly to repair damaged stone surfaces and to imitate wooden mouldings.
