Etymology: < Old French crastin the morrow, the day after (any feast), < Latin crāstinum morrow, < crās tomorrow + -tinus adjectival suffix with words of time. Also written crastino after the Latin form in dates, e.g. Crastino Sancti Vincentii, date of Statute of Merton, 20 Hen. 3 (Cowell).
Obsolete. rare.
The day after, the morrow; the crastin of Trinity Term = the day after the last day of Trinity Term.
