释义 | cuprammoniumn. A complex ion of copper and ammonia, Cu(NH3)4++, obtained in solution by adding excess ammonium hydroxide to a solution of a cupric salt; it forms deep blue aqueous solutions which dissolve cellulose and are used industrially, esp. in the manufacture of some man-made fibres. So cuprammonium process, cuprammonium rayon, cuprammonium silk, etc. Also used elliptically for cuprammonium solution.
