A. n.
A car produced by welding together the front section of one damaged or stolen car and the back section of another; the practice of producing cars in this manner. Hence: a model of vehicle manufactured to a design that uses elements of the body shape of two or more existing models, or that elongates or shortens an existing body shape. Also (in extended use): a hybrid; something which incorporates elements of others of its type, esp. clumsily or obviously.

Two severely damaged cars are cut in half and best [sic] part of one is welded to the best part of the other. This technique is also used to disguise stolen cars.
