Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin defatigabilis.
Etymology: < post-classical Latin defatigabilis (1501 or earlier; 1620 in a British source) < classical Latin dē- de- prefix + fatīgāre fatigue v. + -bilis -ble suffix. Compare earlier indefatigable adj., and also earlier defatigate v., defatigated adj., defatigation n.
1. Wearying, tiring, fatiguing. Obsolete.
