In disulphuric acid, the same as pyrosulphuric or Nordhausen sulphuric acid, H₂S₂O₇ = 2(SO₂OH) + O. Its salts are pyro- or di-sulphates. (So called because the molecule represents two molecules of sulphuric acid deprived of one of water.)
