drugstore beetle n. chiefly North American a small beetle, Stegobium paniceum (family Anobiidae), which is a cosmopolitan pest having larvae that feed on dried foodstuffs and stored products such as biscuits, pasta, and seeds; also called (esp. British) biscuit beetle.
