Dunning–Kruger effect
attributive and in the genitive (as Dunning–Kruger's). Designating a postulated cognitive bias whereby people who have little ability in, or knowledge of, a particular task or subject tend to overestimate their capabilities, while those who are highly skilled or knowledgeable may tend to underestimate theirs. Esp. in Dunning–Kruger effect.
