Compare heavenware n.In Old English originally a strong feminine (ō-stem) eorðwaru (plural eorðwara), but in (more common) plural use frequently attracted to the i-stem declension usual for ethnonyms (eorðware). A weak plural (eorðwaran) is also occasionally found.
