Etymology: Irregularly < edition n. + -al suffix1 + -ize suffix, probably after slightly earlier editionalizing n.
Chiefly British.
transitive and intransitive. To produce (something) in various editions or versions; spec. to produce (a newspaper or its contents) in various editions adapted for different readerships or markets.
