1881 E. Skuse Confectioner's Hand-bk. (ed. 3) 155 Eccles Cake. Roll out a sheet of paste..about a quarter of an inch thick, then roll out another sheet same size,..spread on the first sheet some Banbury meat..then cover it with the second sheet.
