Etymology: < classical Latin alogia folly, nonsense < ancient Greek ἀλογία lack of reason, absurdity, in Hellenistic Greek also speechlessness, amazement < ἄλογος unreasonable (see Alogi n.) + -ία -y suffix3.
Obsolete.
