Etymology: < post-classical Latin eliquamentum (1602 or earlier) < classical Latin ēliquāre eliquate v. + -mentum -ment suffix.Compare post-classical Latin eliquamen, in the same sense (1515 or earlier).
Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
The juice from fish or meat fat.
