释义 | epitokousadj. Of or relating to the epitoke, the posterior sexual part of the body of certain polychætous worms. ΚΠ 1896 W. B. Benham in Cambr. Nat. Hist. II. x. 276 Polychaeta... The immature forms may become ripe and lay eggs while still retaining the ‘Nereid’ characteristics, or these immature forms may become ‘Heteronereids’... Ehlers employed the term ‘epitokous’, whilst he called the ‘Nereid’ phase ‘atokous’. 1902 Boston Soc. Nat. Hist. XXIX. 399 The Heteronereis (epitokous form of Ehlers) is not uncommon. 1911 J. A.
