1938 S. Rosenzweig in H. A. Murray Explorations in Personality vi. 587 He may manifest the emotion of anger and condemn the outer world..for his frustration, adopting an attitude of hostility toward his environment. This type of reaction may be termed ‘extrapunitive’.
