Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin fasciculato-.
Etymology: < scientific Latin fasciculato-, combining form (in e.g. fasciculato-glomeratus : see note) of fasciculatus fasciculate adj.; compare -o- connective.With fasciculato-glomerate (see quot. 1846) compare scientific Latin fasciculato-glomeratus (1806 or earlier). With fasciculato-ramose (see quot. 1866) compare scientific Latin fasciculato-ramosus (1800 or earlier).
Combining form of fasciculate adj., occasionally prefixed to other adjectives to indicate a fasciculate form or arrangement.
