Etymology: < anti- prefix + caking n.
That prevents or reduces caking; esp. designating an agent or additive used to prevent a powdery or granular substance from becoming solidified or lumpy. Cf. caking n.

1933 Brit. Patent 388,134 3/1 Finely divided coal or other carbonaceous matter has been used in the reaction mass, in some cases as a reducing agent and in others as a mechanical anti-caking agent for the saltcake produced.
1961 Specif. for Ammonium Chloride (B.S. 3448) 4 Type B contains an anti-caking agent and is intended for uses where a non-caking material is required.
2010 Countryfile Feb. 74/1 Most table salts..are free-flowing because anti-caking agents—either magnesium carbonate or sodium hexacyanoferrate—are used, neither of which offer nutritional benefits or detrimental effects.
