Etymology: < post-classical Latin aneurismaticus (1667 or earlier) < aneurismat- , aneurisma aneurysm n. + classical Latin -icus -ic suffix. Compare earlier aneurysmatical adj. and slightly later aneurysmous adj.Compare French aneurismatique (1735 or earlier), †aneurysmatique (1865 or earlier; now usually anévrysmatique (1812)).
Medicine.
Of, relating to, or of the nature of an aneurysm; affected by an aneurysm; = aneurysmal adj.
