Of, pertaining to, or designating the family Ankylosauridae, which as now defined comprises ornithischian dinosaurs of Cretaceous times with body armour, four heavy limbs, a broad head, and a club at the end of the tail.The family was formerly defined as including the present family Nodosauridae, whose members had narrow heads and no tail clubs.
