单词 frampler
释义

framplern.

Brit. /ˈframp(ə)lə/, U.S. /ˈfræmp(ə)lər/, Scottish English /ˈframp(ə)lər/
Origin: Of uncertain origin. Perhaps formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: English frample , -er suffix1.
Etymology: Origin uncertain. Perhaps < frample to put (things) in disorder (although this is apparently first attested slightly later: see Sc. National Dict. at frample; of uncertain origin; perhaps an alteration of frumple v. after fankle v.) + -er suffix1, with the sense of the noun semantically influenced by association with frampold adj. Perhaps compare earlier frapler n. at fraple v. Derivatives.
