Etymology: < angio- comb. form + -genic comb. form. In sense 1 after German angiogen (1894 in the passage translated in quot. 1896 at sense 1). In sense 2 after angiogenesis n.
1. Medicine. Originating in, produced by, or associated with blood or lymphatic vessels, or with disease of such vessels Obsolete.
