Etymology: Onomatopoeic: compare earlier goo-goo int.
intransitive. To make an inarticulate cooing or gurgling noise such as that made by babies and small children; also (colloquial), to converse with a sweetheart in this way, to canoodle. Cf. coo v. 2, 3.
