Etymology: < classical Latin grandiloquus (see grandiloquent adj.) + -ism suffix. Compare earlier grandiloquence n., grandiloquy n., and grandiloquacity n., and compare also ventriloquism n.
The use of grandiloquent language; an instance of this.
