1. A device for holding the hands in the correct position when playing the piano or similar keyboard instrument. Now historical and rare.Apparently only with reference to that devised by Col. Peter Hawker, patented in 1820, which was strapped to the wrist and attached to the edge of the keyboard by means of a slidable clamp.
