释义 | Hanifn. Islam. A name or epithet applied in the Qur'an to Abraham; hence, also, to one sincere or orthodox in the faith of Islam. By historical writers, applied to a sect of religious reformers, with many of whose tenets Muhammad identified himself, as professing to restore the religion of Abraham.
