Cf. au revoir int.Originally in Spanish contexts; later more generally as a more flamboyant parting phrase. Now often with humorous allusion to Arnold Schwarzenegger's deadpan delivery of the phrase in the 1991 film, Terminator 2, made prior to killing another character (see quot. 1991).
