head drop n. [after Japanese kubisagari ( < kubi neck, head + sagari, nominalized stem of sagaru to go down, drop)] Medicine †(a) a disorder (not identified) characterized by drooping of the head, occurring in parts of Japan, esp. north-eastern Honshu and eastern Shikoku (obsolete); (b) (more generally) drooping of the head towards the chest, esp. as a result of dysfunction of the neck muscles; an instance of this.
