Motorcycling.
A type of accident in which the rear tyre of a motorcycle loses and suddenly regains traction on a road surface when cornering, resulting in the rider being thrown into the air and over the motorcycle. Frequently attributive, as highside accident, highside crash, etc. Cf. lowside n.
