Etymology: In this language, = offspring.
An artificial language, based on Esperanto n., selected by the ‘Delegation for the Adoption of an Auxiliary International Language’ (founded at Paris in 1901), and made public in 1907.The official name is ‘Linguo Internaciona di la Delegitaro (Sistema Ido)’.
