Etymology: < post-classical Latin imperforabilis invulnerable (6th cent.), unpierceable (14th cent. in a British source) < im- im- prefix2 + perforabilis perforable adj. Compare later perforable adj.
That cannot be perforated or penetrated. Also figurative and in figurative contexts.
