单词 kete
释义

keteadj.adv.

Etymology: Early Middle English kete (kę̄te), not known in Old English: etymology uncertain. Perhaps related to Old Norse kæti, noun, cheer, gladness, < kátr cheerful, merry. Kluge ( Paul's Grundr. (ed. 2) I. 939) suggests an unrecorded Old Norse kætr, beside kátr, but of this there is no evidence. Compare also Björkeman Scandinavian Loanwds. in ME. (1900) 174.
Obsolete.
