Probably a scribal error for laydsilver, an unattested variant of Middle English ladesilver, northern variant of loadsilver payment made in lieu of the manorial service of carrying loads (< load n. + silver n.).Middle English loadsilver is attested from the 15th cent., including an example from the records of Durham Priory (see quot. 1425-6), the same source as the example of ladysilver; cf.:

1425–6 in J. T. Fowler Extracts Acct. Rolls Abbey of Durham (1901) III. 620 vjs. viijd. rec. pro ladesilver ejusdem ville per annum.

1435–9 in N. Neilson Customary Rents (1910) 63 Et pro lodesilver, qr.

The conjecture of J. T. Fowler ( Extracts Acct. Rolls Abbey of Durham (1901) III. 929) that ladysilver shows a formation < lady n. + silver n. denoting a payment due on Lady Day is unsupported by the evidence.
