It forms bunches of crystals up to 6 cm. × 6–7 mm., showing a brilliant (001) cleavage, enclosed in native arsenic. 1967 Mineral. Abstr. 18 97/1 Lautite was obtained by heating a mixture of realgar and electrolytic copper under 1000 kg/cm2 to 315° C.
