Physics.
A type of fusion reactor in which stability of the plasma inside a toroidal container is achieved by the combination of a magnetic field parallel to the sides of the torus, produced by an external winding, with a second field everywhere at right angles to the first, produced by a toroidal current-carrying core magnetically levitated inside the tube.
