Etymology: Probably partly a typographical error for autobiographical adj., and partly either < autobiograph- (in autobiography n.) + -al suffix1 or shortened < autobiographical adj. Compare earlier autobiographic adj., and also pseudepigraphal adj., cryptographal adj., etc.
= autobiographical adj.Some of the examples given may be typographical errors for autobiographical.
