Resembling light; spec. designating an interval (interval n. 2c) between two points in space-time that is neither time-like nor space-like; relating to such an interval.For any given point in space-time, the set of all lightlike intervals forms a boundary (the light cone) between events that are causally connected with that point and ones that are not causally connected with it.
