释义 | Maiasauran. Palaeontology. A Late Cretaceous genus of large duck-billed dinosaurs, the members of which are notable for the association of some of their remains with nests containing eggs and young, with evidence of parental care and of colonial nesting at traditional sites. Fortey Life ix. 259 Maiasaura, a duck-billed dinosaur, was considered to be a nest-builder and, by implication, a good mother.
